"huh?" amber said as a small kitten stepped out that alley. "Whats a little kitten like u doin out here?"
Ember was a young house cat. He was handsome, charming and smart. one summer day, a new family moved into his old neighbours house. They had a cat, and the day they got there, they let him explore the yard. Ember decided to greet him and as soon as he stepped in the yard, the other cat let out a snarl and jumped at him. Ember felt a harsh burning feeling From above his eye brow right down to the chin. He looked down and saw a bloody tooth and an eyeball on the ground. Black dots spotted his vision and he fell over, going unconcious.
Ember woke under a shed, a mouse in front of his bloodstained paws. "huh?" he said unsure what had happened. Then he remembered it all.

"alright." he heaved himself up and then squeezed through the hole. A chilly air welcomed him. "wow. it got chilly."
"Yes, it is." Emberpool said, padding out of the warriors den.

Cloudspots padded out after her. "Good morning, Lightningstar. Would you like to go on patrol with me and Emberpool?"He asked.
"Lets go to the lake and see if we can find some mice or something." Emberpool said, her black tail tip twithching. "Is three cats good?" said cloudspots.
Emberpool followed him, with Cloudspots right behind her. a few cats were swimming, but the water was getting colder each and every day. She saw a shrew scampering around and pounced. She landed squarely on it and bit its neck. "I caught somthin'!" she said, her voice muffled.

"Nice!" cloudspots said. He saw some movement in the bushes. He crept into them and saw a fat pigeon the size as a newly made apprentice. He jumped, and caught its wing as it began to take flight. It pulled him a tail-length from the ground, then collapsed. He killed it, picked it up and brought it back to the group." Look at this thing! Its HUGE!" he said, glad with his catch.
"Really?' Emberpool said with suprise. "lets go back! this will feed the clan for moons!" she said, picking up her mouse and starting to camp.

Cloudspots was so glad. he caught the nasty bird that was preying on the kits. he remembered how an eagle swooped down and stole dappledkit. He pushed the thought away and said;" Lightningstar, can you help me bring this back to camp?"
